Dear Ed, You always had time for a chat and a cup of tea & relished the opportunity to share your stories and knowledge. You were well versed on so many topics. You were never short of a word (in whatever language) and we could always rely on you for the best dedications in cards even though they were often in Latin or Spanish & we didn’t know what they meant! You were so full of character and opinions and could be pedantic and grumpy when suffering from tea withdrawal or we were being idiots. You had a dry wit and baritone voice which could sometimes be heard radiating from your workshop You worked hard all your life but you were a family man and would light up when you spoke to or of them. They were your world and you were theirs. You were so proud and loved them so much You always showed me such kindness and were supportive in my times of need. You were a work colleague, a friend and one of my most favorite people. These are all things I will miss and the world is a little less bright & interesting without you in it but my life has been so much better for having you there. Love you Eddie! Goodbye. Louise
